CECI W.A.V.E
Mission
In our office we want to encourage our students to achieve academic excellence through prioritizing themselves first. As majors that are gearing toward helping professions, the CECI advising office wants to instill self-care and helpful coping strategies through these events for our students. It is time to focus on you through this series of events and we hope you will enjoy!
Goals
Through facilitating wellness and vibrancy events for CECI students, we hope –
- Students learn healthy habits for peace, calm, and endurance
- Students feel supported and cared for by their CECI Advising Office
- Students meet each other and build community

Ghost's on the Go! (in collaboration with GVSU Rec/Well)
Get ready to move, groove, and boost your wellbeing! Join us for a 45-minute Halloween-themed dance workout designed to help CECI students prioritize their self-care, build a sense of belonging, and take a break from the demands of caring for others. Enjoy spooky beats, fun movement, and a welcoming space to connect with others, release stress, and recharge your mind and body. Come as you are, dance at your own pace, and remember that taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of others!
THIS EVENT IS RSVP ONLY! Information on how to RSVP will be emailed to CECI students.
