10/13/26 - 10/22/26: Hiring actions are unavailable in Workday for student employee hires.

10/17/26 - 10/21/26: Workday is periodically unavailable. Time entry and all other Workday tasks will not be able to be completed in Workday during these times:

• Weekend of October 17, 18 (Saturday 10:00 a.m. – Sunday 11:00 p.m.)
• Evenings of October 19, 20, 21 (5:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.)

10/23/26: Register for training by 10/23 to be included in the training enrollment report to leadership.

10/26/26: Workday Student functionality goes live in current Workday system – no action is needed. As Workday Student features become available, you may see: 

• Student profiles
• New menu and navigation options
• Additional student-focused tasks, reports and search results
• Both a worker profile and student profile when searching for student employees or employees who are or have recently been students. When an employee (who has a student profile) or student employee clicks View Profile, they will be taken to their student profile by default. This does not affect employee access, information, or job-related functions. Employees can switch back to their worker profile as outlined in Accessing Student Employee and Student Profiles in Workday. Employees may also change their default profile to their Worker profile. 11/9/26: Training begins for Academic Administrative Support, Advisors, Deans & ADs, Student Support, and Unit Heads. See Training Courses by Role and Click Here to Register.  (Faculty training to occur in Jan. & Aug. 2027.)

12/1/26: 

• Workday becomes the system of record for student personal information. Current students are invited to login to Workday to complete onboarding tasks. These tasks must be complete prior to registering for Fall 2027 courses in March 2027.
• Office hours begin for Academic Administrative Support, Advisors, Deans & ADs, Student Support, and Unit Heads. No registration is needed – see times and locations / Zoom links.
